For Shruti Haasan it was love at first sight. We are talking about the green meadows of Pollachi where she was shooting for her Telugu film 'Gabbar Singh' with Pawan Kalyan.

Shruti wrote on her micro- blogging page – “ My first song in the fields, can I say I’m totally excited. Village belle strikes a pose wooho! Who would have thought a concrete creature such as me would love the rustic beauty of Pollachi.” 

After a week’s shoot in Indian cinemas best known village landscape, Shruti was sad to leave Pollachi.

Just before leaving for Coimbatore to catch a flight to Hyderabad, the actress tweeted again- “ Heading back to concrete life, is slightly weird now that I adore Pollachi and I’m enjoying playing the village belle.”
