Just a few days back everyone was surprised when Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘middle finger’ act in ‘Rockstar’ was approved by the other wise strict censor board. Morever, this time it is John Abraham who has ably passed the censor board’s scrutiny program. The recent on air promo of his song in the film ‘Desi Boyz’ has some suggestive hand gestures that could have been objectionable but have been passed surprisingly without a single cut.

However ‘Shakal Pe Mat Ja’ director Shubh Mukherjee was not that lucky as he had to crop some objectionable dialogues from his mentioned film. He is irked by the fact that John’s vulgar hand gestures were passed whereas he was asked to cut similar scenes. He claimed that as John and his films are big names in their own entity, they are pardoned but when it comes to small budget films and lesser known stars then censor raises objections. He claimed that that is certainly unfair.
