Shylu witnesses another change!

2nd August 2011

K Manju's 'Shylu' seems to shy away from her heroines. This remake of 'Mynaa' has now seen another change. In the beginning director S Narayan was keen to cast Amala Paul from the original as heroine opposite Golden Star Ganesh.

For reasons 'unknown' the role finally went to Sanusha, of 'Renigunta' and 'Eththan' fame. The film went on floors on June 24 and the team went on to Munnar as per schedule. All seemed well and shooting went on for two days before Narayan found his heroine missing, sources say. After searching for her, the team finally found out that the actress was shooting for a Malayalam film at the same time.

It transpired that the actress had allotted the same dates to both the films and had thought things would somehow sort out. But Narayan being the strict disciplinarian that he is, lost no time in throwing Sanusha out.

The 'Shylu' team soon found a replacement in Bhama who had a memorable debut in 'Modala Sala'. Last heard, the team has gone ahead with the shooting while poor Sanusha is still reeling from the thunderbolt.
