If Ranveer Singh is to be believed, the actor claims that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali brings out the best in him.
Ranveer who was directed by Bhansali in 'Ram-Leela', reached the peak of his career as the film proved to be his biggest hit till date.
Ranveer in his praise for SLB claims that no other filmmaker understands him better.
"I am very comfortable with Mr. Bhansali. He understands and recognises my strengths and utilises them. That is why he and I make a great combination," said Ranveer who reportedly will play the lead in Bhansali's magnum opus film 'Bajirao Mastani'.
The mentioned film has cost Ranveer a Karan Johar film as it is being said that he turned down a mega project to allot dates for SLB's period love story. However, Ranveer refuses to talk about it.
"I can't comment on films that I am not doing. I will tell you about people whom I am working with. I don't see a point in talking about something that I am not doing," he said.
Without taking names, Ranveer justifies his action of choosing Bhansali's film over KJo's.
"He is a very gifted filmmaker. Even when his films don't do well commercially, they carry a certain class. I wouldn't bat an eye lid before collaborating with him because I know, better than anybody else, what he does to me and for me," he added.
