It is a known fact that in order to resurrect daughter Sonam Kapoor's not-so-happening career daddy dearest would do anything for her. Hence, producer and actor Anil Kapoor has bought the rights of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's classic hit 'Khubsoorat' to remake it with Sonam in the lead.

While the original had Rekha as the leading lady, Sonam will step in her shoes to reprise her role in the remake. And in order to perform at par expectations, Sonam will soon be taking lessons from Rekha to play the quirky character.

Sonam is aware of the fact that there will be huge expectations from her and the film and she doesn't want to disappoint her fans. She wants to live up to the standards of the original.

Hence, she has sought Rekha's guidance who had also won the 'Best Actress Award' for that film.
