Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had fractured his ribs during a stunt while shooting for 'Darr'. In 1993, the actor was recommended to take complete bed rest when he hurt his toe real bad. The very next year in 1994, SRK injured his left knee when shooting for the film 'Koyla', and then, again he had a set of injuries in 2006, 2010 and 2011.

In fact, the actor has undergone around eight surgeries related to his injuries, and today he will be heading for a shoulder operation once again. SRK injured his shoulder when shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Chennai Express'.

Though the actor when through a lot of pain, he ensured that the movie shoot schedule was not impacted, and continued to shoot for the film, despite the excruciating pain, until the director confirmed that the movie shoot was complete.

It is also heard that his son who is currently studying in the U.K., came down a couple of days back to be with his father.
