(Cover) - EN Movies - Steven Spielberg has reportedly been brainstorming ideas for a fourth Jurassic Park movie.
The legendary filmmaker is said to have been meeting with Thor writer Mark Protosevich to consider different options for a new instalment of the blockbuster.
It has been ten years since the last film in the series was released and due to diminishing box office ratings there were no plans to shoot another sequel. And after the passing of Jurassic Park creator John Crichton, producers of the first three movies suggested they finish the franchise altogether.
Joe Johnston, who directed the last instalment, said in 2007 that he would not make another Jurassic Park, to which Spielberg replied if Johnston didn't make the movie, he would.
Although no scriptwriters have been hired yet and Universal aren't known to be backing a potential fourth Jurassic Park, Spielberg's meetings with Protosevich have been confirmed as "exploratory" according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Over the years there have been numerous rumours about potential storylines, fake scripts and fan-created images of a fourth instalment, but this latest information is regarded as a genuine hint that there might be another sequel. (C) Cover Media
