Dharma Production has set a new record of making the highest box office collection starring newcomers with their latest movie 'Student Of The Year' (SOTY).  Directed by Karan Johar, the film has struck the right chord with the audiences in spite of starring three debutants.

Released on October 19, 'SOTY' marked the debut of Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. All the newcomers were very well accepted, as even before the release the debutants had a huge fan base.

The high school romance was a blockbuster and the debutants left behind quite an impression on the audiences.

Bollywood has seen a number of films starring debutants but 'SOTY' has set a new benchmark by breaking the box office records. Hope the Dharma legacy continues to entertain the audiences and set new records as well.
