Yesteryear superstars Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol get engaged to businessman Bharat Takhtani in a private ceremony recently. And it is said that the wedding bells will be heard soon. Both Hema and Dharmendra are excited for their daughter’s wedding and are planning to announce it soon.

Reportedly the wedding is expected to be held in mid 2012 . The proud mother Hema especially is insisting on getting her daughter tie the knot as soon as possible. "It will be good if they get married soon as there is no reason to delay it after the engagement. We are looking forward to arrange it before monsoon but I wonder if we will be able to lock in all the preparations in time," said Hema.

As the engagement was a low key private affair, Hema says that wedding has to be on grand scale and it will have most of the Hindi film industry’s superstars in attendance to give her daughter their blessings on the D-day.
