Bollywood already has it's own share of superstars who have turned mentors for the younger lot. From Anupam Kher, Salman Khan to Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar etc, they all have been godfathers to some or the other talented newcomer at some point of their career.

Adding to this glorious list is Suniel Shetty who has been mentoring a bunch of talented stars on the sets of 'Desi Kattey'. The film 'Desi Kattey' which marks the debut of newcomer Akhil Kapur, is touted to be an out-and-out action film set against the backdrop of shooting sports. 

Suniel who himself has been one of the most famous action stars of our times was an inspiration to the actors of this film. Apart from Akhil, Suniel was also guarding towards Jay Bhanushali.

Akhil revealed that Suniel was extremely warm towards the rest of the star cast and was always game for giving advices. He further added that Suneil who has always had keen interest in martial arts and different forms of action sports was impressed by his hand-to-hand combat and martial arts skills.

"I have grown up watching Anna's action on screen. On the set, he has been a tremendous source of support and helped me understand how I could make my stunts look bigger and more heroic. To play a friend-turned-foe was challenging and with his tips, I could make it look convincing," said Akhil. 

Directed by Anand Kumar, the film releases on September 26.
