S. J. Surya is back to wield the megaphone. The director of 'Vaali' and 'Kushi', who became a hero later, is set to start his comeback venture 'Isai', which will hit the floors on Friday, 25th May, 2012.
Besides helming the flick, he will be doing the lead role while newcomer Savithri has been picked as the heroine. Prakash Raj, Ganja Karuppu and M.S. Baskar form a part of the cast, the press release say.
And the highlight is that S. J. Surya will be scoring the music too. Soundar Rajan will handle the cinematography and Antony, the editing. Vaali will pen the lyrics and Victor Raj Pandian will be the producer.
According to Surya, it is a musical-thriller and is sure to leave a mark on the audience. 'Isai will have in score something new. It was A R Rahman who asked me to score music.'
