(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tara Reid says her recent impromptu wedding was "so romantic".

The American Pie actress married finance worker Zach Kehayov last week after announcing her engagement and nuptials on the same day on Twitter.

Tara told UK Star that she just felt it was the right time to say "I do" even though she was not prepared.

"You know when they say, You just know?' That was it for me. I knew. It was love," she gushed.

"The wedding wasn't actually planned. We didn't go on holiday to get married. But, when he proposed, it felt right and we just thought, Let's do it now.'"

Tara said that she first met her new husband in Monaco a year ago but lost touch with him until this past May.

They began dating and booked their vacation to Santorini, Greece where they became husband and wife last week.

"We both wore white clothes and just did it on the beach," Tara shared. "It was so romantic."

The 35-year-old said that she wants to have children with Zach but "not just yet".

"I can 100 percent see myself as a mom," she told the publication. "I can't wait to get fat and have that belly I think it looks really cute."

But she added that before she gets pregnant she has to give up her biggest vice.

"I smoke a lot, so that' my main vice but I prefer to say my husband is my newest vice. He makes me feel amazing," she shared.

"I've been energised before but it never felt anything like this."

The actress is currently appearing in the UK's version of Celebrity Big Brother where concerns have been sparked about her mental well being.

The newlywed broke down in tears and said she felt like she and the fellow housemates were just "pieces in Big Brother's game".

"I'm shaking inside right now and my instincts are usually pretty good too. I'm scared," she said.

Psychologists for the show have apparently been alerted to the situation and are monitoring Tara's behaviour, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. (C) Cover Media
