The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star believes that if the cameras were not in her life she may have been killed by her late husband Russell, who committed suicide in August.

Speaking to Los Angeles television station KTLA this morning, the mother-of-one has strong beliefs about how the show was of help to her in her abusive relationship.

"If cameras were not in my life, there's a good chance I wouldn't be sitting here today," she said adding that she could have been murdered or died in a murder-suicide.

She said that it was possible that Russell's alleged violent behaviour could have eventually involved their five-year-old daughter Kennedy.

"I'm thankful to be here especially for my daughter," Taylor shared. "Imagine if she had two less parents instead of one."

Taylor said she wanted to be on the show "subconsciously" so her issues could be aired to the public and maybe help other people as well as herself.

"I was handed a very specific mission by the grace of God, through a tragedy," the socialite added.

Russell, 47, was found dead after he hanged himself because of mounting financial problems it is reported.

He is survived by Kennedy and two other sons from previous relationships; Aiden and Griffin.

Russell's close friend and business associate Alan Schram also killed himself the day after Russell.

"Alan took his own life because he also owed at least $250,000 to the same person that advanced Russell the large amount of money," a source told RadarOnline.

The financier turned reality star is also said to have considered fleeing the country to dodge his financial obligations but decided to take his own life instead. (C) Cover Media
