(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Lautner has revealed many of his topless scenes were cut from Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Taylor plays Jacob the werewolf in the Twilight series. The character is known for his well-defined pectoral muscles. To the disappoint of many fans, Taylor admits that Jacob will not be displaying his chest quite so often in the newest Twilight instalment Breaking Dawn Part 1.

"There were definitely some shirtless scenes cut from the script," Taylor told USA Today.

Taylor sculpted his body carefully in preparation for his topless scenes. His dietary habits were completely transformed for a while.

"I was forcing myself to eat thick, heavy food every two hours," Taylor explained. "That was really tough for me. Three protein shakes a day. Ugh, I hate that thought."

Taylor couldn't wait to be free from such a regimented diet. When filming came to a close, he immediately gorged on delicious, calorific food.

"As soon as my final scene was shot, I was like, 'I'm done,'" Taylor said. "I went out to dinner at my favourite restaurant and had dessert for the first time in a long while, a brownie sundae. It was amazing."
