The American country singer is adored for her catchy songs such as Love Story but also admired by men for her stunning looks.

The 20-year-old star has admitted that her popularity has an uglier side, with some men have actually tried to force their way in to her room at night.

However Taylor does not let that stop her from getting to know her genuine fans.

Guys have crossed the country and tried to break into where I am, she told Look magazine. There is also a bunch of letters that my security team handle. They make me aware of the ones I need to know about, but try to keep that away from me because they dont want me to stop living my life.

The young guitarist takes every precaution she can against unwelcome visitors but accepts much of it is out of her control. Taylor realises that having obsessive followers is just a downside to being famous and successful.
