Expressing her desire to join ‘Team Anna’, Tamannah has said she admired the determination and mission of Anna Hazare, who sat in an indefinite fast pressing for a stronger Lokpal Bill.

“Anna Hazare has proved once again that Sathyagraha is the most powerful weapon on earth. My full support is for Anna and his team. My brother Anand, who is a medical student, has been regularly updating me about Hazare and his activities,” she says.

Denying reports which appeared in a section of the media that she has been neglecting Kollywood of late, Tamannah says, “I just love Tamil cinema. The fact is that I am flooded with offers from the Telugu film industry which has resulted in a small break.”

Tamannah’s last release in Tamil was ‘Siruthai’, a Karthi Sivakumar starrer, which turned out to be a super hit. She is currently acting in three films in Telugu, all with leading heroes of Tollywood. “I am happy with the way my career is taking shape,” she says.
