Fight for Right

'Thadaiyara Thaakka' has proved the fact that right pair of cast and director can work wonders for a film. Action, emotions, drama, music-Thadaiyara Thaakka is an entertainer to the tee. After debuting with the romantic comedy 'Mundhinam Partheney', director Magizh Thrirumeni has gone out of his way by making an out and out action film.

The magic of the film begins from the very first scene, leaving your eyes glued to the screen. For Arun Kumar, Thadaiyara Thaakka comes as a big break, which he has utilized very efficiently by delivering the best of his performance in every scene. On the other hand Mamta Mohandas gives a standard performance, expected from an action film actress. Krishna Vamsi and Maha Gandhi – the baddies in the film, give a very convincing performance with their looks and body language.

With just two songs and racy background score, Thamman’s music takes the movie to a completely new level. If acting and direction are not enough for a reason to watch this movie, then music surely could be one.

The movie revolves around Selva (Arun Vijay) a gentle young man, who runs a travel agency. Selva is all set to tie the knot with Priya (Mamta Mohandas) the love of his life. Nevertheless fate has other plans for him. Selva crosses paths with Maha (Maha Gandhi) a deadly gangster of the city. Things take turn for the worst when Selva is blamed for Maha’s death. Maha’s infuriated brother Kumar (Krishna Vamsi) goes out in search of Selva to teach him a lesson. After running for some time Selva decides facing Kumar, only to find out who the real culprit is.

The story line may sound repetitive, but the right action and direction make the movie a must watch. Packaged well, Thadaiyara Thaakka is surely worth your penny.
