Unwind picturesque Uttrakhand as lost Shahid searches Shraddha

The makers of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' have released a romantic soundtrack titled 'Dekhte Dekhte' and it is the crisp voice of Atif Aslam that has graced this Sufi number. It is the remake of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's classic number 'Bewafa Ho Gaye Dekhte Dekhte'.

The music video has a lost Shahid Kapoor gazing about the memories of his love interest Shraddha Kapoor as the song unwinds beautiful scenes of Devbhoomi Uttrakhand. Indeed an emotional number for the lovers out there who are missing their loved ones by the memories they have made.

The song is penned by Manoj Muntashir and the Sufi composition of Rochak Kohli is pleasing to the ears. Also the crazy for love narrative of the song blends with the serene voice of Atif Aslam. Click here to watch the music video.

Helmed by 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' director Shree Narayan, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' also stars Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles. The dramedy deals with the issue of frequent power cuts in the country with one of the primary characters receiving an outrageously high electricity bill which motivates Shahid to take matters in his hands.

'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' highlights the issue of electricity theft and load-shedding in the hilly terrain of North India. The film is set to release on September 21.
