'Vaanam' and 'Engeyum Kadhal' face problems because of 'KO'
27th April 2011
K.V. Anand's 'Ko', which opened last Friday (April 22), is rocking in at the box-office raking in tremendous collections. The film is drawing repeat audiences and it's turned out to be a grand success for Udhayanidhi Stalin, as he claims the film to be 'the biggest ever opening weekend for any film' for the current year. Theatre owners are sure that the film will have houseful shows for next couple of weeks.
This has apparently caused a problem for the producers of Cloud Nine Movies and Sun Pictures as the bigger screens are not available for 'Vaanam' and 'Engeyum Kadhal'.
The theatre owners are unwilling to shift the movie 'Ko' from the big screens to smaller ones as they feel that it would result in a drop in collections. The producers of 'Engeyum Kadhal' and 'Vaanam' are still sure about releasing the film on schedule.
