The Jiiva starrer, Vandhan Vendraan, will be hitting cinemas this weekend. The movie directed by Kannan & produced by K S Srinivasan of Vasan Visual Ventures, stars Taapsee opposite Jiiva.

The film has recently been appreciated by the Censor Board officials who cleared it with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The movie features Jiiva in the role of a professional boxer. Speaking about the film, Jiiva says, “It is an interesting movie in my career. It has more scope for me to perform.”

Santhanam's comedy is another highlight of Vandhan Vendraan. The movie has a musical score by S Thaman. On his part, Kannan, says, “The movie is young and Jiiva has given his best performance ever.”

Nandha, who is popular for his roles in Eeram and Ananthapurathu Veedu, has done a negative character. “It is not that of a villain’s role. It will be filled with suspense,” says the actor, adding that Vandhan Vendran would be a film to reckon with in his career.
