December 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Tamil film actor Veera Bahu, whose first film as lead hero is set to release in January 2011 is very excited about the quickie thriller Nadunisi Naaygal (Midnight Dogs). The film is being directed by Gautham Menon, who has recently completed the shooting and is under post production stage now.
Veera will be romancing Sameera Reddy in this film, which also stars Ashwin in one of the lead roles. The film comes with duration of 90 minutes and will tell the series of events that happens in one night. The movie does not have any song or a background score.
Actor Veera is very thankful to his director Menon for offering him the role after six years of their meeting. Veera said that he met the director six years ago but he did not offer him any role saying that he needs to get himself equipped to be an actor. Veera said that he could realize the meaning after doing this film. At that time, Veera joined Gautham as an assistant director as the director wanted him to know the process of filmmaking and earn the experience behind the camera before he faces it.
Veera expressed his gratitude to Menon saying that the director took the best decision for him. He added that he would have mishandled his career if Menon had made the same film with him six years back. The actor made his first appearance in the 2008 movie Vaaranam Aayiram in which he played a supporting role of a commando.
We hope Veeras behind the camera experience reflects in his on-screen appearance in Nadunisi Naaygal!
