Filmmaker Lingusamy made his directorial debut with the movie 'Anandam' and later there was no turning back for the filmmaker as his films dubbed in Telugu were hits. His previous movie 'Paiyaa' that was dubbed in Telugu as 'Aawara' became an incredulous success. The filmmaker is now busy shooting for a bilingual movie titled 'Veta' starring Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in lead roles.

Speaking about the movie, director Lingusamy says that it will be a full-fledged family entertainer catering to the tastes of universal audiences. For the first time Madhavan and Aarya are coming together. Adding more on Aarya, Lingusamy says that he has given a mass-oriented role for Arya that he had not touched before.
