A long time buzz that Vijay would soon turn a producer has come true at last. The actor has floated a company called Ghilli Productions and its maiden venture will be a remake of Sattam Oru Iruttarai.

It is to be noted that Sattam Oru Iruttarai, a film starring Vijayakanth, was directed by Vijay's father S A Chandrasekaran in the 1980s. The film took a dig at loopholes in the legal system.

Now the movie will be remade with a newcomer called Ramesh wielding the megaphone. Vikram Prabhu, grandson of Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan and son of Prabhu will play the lead role.

Karthika and Piaa are the two leading ladies of the movie. Vikram Prabhu is currently playing the lead role in a film titled Kumki, directed by Prabhu Solomon after the super hit Mynaa.
