Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) president S A Chandrasekaran, father of actor Vijay, lodged a complaint with the police that someone had forged his signature.

The popular director, who called on the Chennai city Police Commissioner J K Tripathy, said in his complaint, that a fake letter was circulated to Cable TV operators in Tamil Nadu, with his forged signature.

Alleging that the fake circular demanded money from the operators, Chandrasekar wants tough action taken against those behind the forgery. SAC became the chief of TFPC after its president Ramanarayanan resigned, last month.
