Villalan is a film about a gang who takes pictures of women vulgarly. This gang who takes a picture of an ex police officer's wife blackmails them. A young police officer, who is offended, tries to smash this entire gang. How he does it is the rest of the story. New face Vetrivel dons the role of this young police officer. Asmitha, Ranjith, Sabitha Anand, Ajay Rathinam,' Boys' Rajan and K R Vathsala are also starring in this film. In a song sequence there are scenes that shows about Ranjitha - Nithyananda sex scam and Kanchipuram priest Devanathan.

When the film was sent for certification to the Censor Board, the members objected the these scenes. This scenes were deleted and it was awarded U certificate. The film which is to hit the screens soon has the music of Ravi Raghav and the cinematography by Charles Anthony.

Vetri and Suryan are in charge of the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. Cantonment Shanmugam has produced this film
