Vishnu Manchu seems to be taking a cue from his father Mohan Babu, the great star from the 80's and 90's. It is heard that the young actor is planning to remake the yesteryear blockbuster film 'Assembly Rowdy'.

The movie starring Mohan Babu and Divya Bharati in the lead roles, which hit the screens in 1991 created huge waves in the box office. Now, Vishnu wants to make the movie again and play the lead role as well.

Sources say, "'Vishnu is keen to produce the new version under his banner 24 frames factory. He will reprise his father Mohan Babu in the remake version while a prominent director is reported to wield the megaphone".

'Assembly Rowdy' (1991), which was directed by B. Gopal, is a political satire as the title suggests.
