'Comedy King' Brahmanandam goes down memory lane recalling an incident that happened years ago, when he was working with megastar Chiranjeevi for a film.

"We were shooting for a Telugu film at Ooty in Tamil Nadu, when this incident happened. When we were vacating the hotel where we stayed, Chiranjeevi was waiting at the lobby along with the hotel staff who asked me to open my luggage," he says.

Brahmanandam recalls: "When I asked why they wanted to open my suitcases and bags, they said that it was a formality in the hotel to check the belongings of the guest when they were checking out. I immediately asked them to go ahead and open by luggage."

"To my shock, there were some belongings of the hotel (jugs, plates etc) inside my suitcases. The hotel staff wanted to alert the police and I became very panicky. Only then did Chiru step in and clarified that he teased me in co-operation with the hotel staff. It was he who put all those things in my luggage."
