Willow Smith to perform at White House

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Willow Smith has been invited by US President Barack Obama to sing at the White House.

The 10-year-old singing sensation released her debut single Whip My Hair last year, and it soon became a global hit.

The young pop singer - who is fast emerging as one to watch in the music industry will perform at the presidents famous residence on April 25.

Willow, who is the daughter of Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, has been invited by Barack and his wife Michelle to sing at the 133rd Annual White House Easter Egg Roll in front of 30,000 invited guests.

Willow will join Tyson Gay, Kelly Ripa, Colbie Caillat, Greyson Chance and a couple of Sesame Street muppets, who will be among the stars and athletes joining the guests who won tickets in an online lottery.

Along with the musical performances and the traditional egg roll competition, there will be celebrity storytelling, a dance party, an obstacle course, basketball, tennis, yoga and arts and crafts.

White House chefs and celebrity guest chefs will teach healthy eating habits at a special food station.

The annual traditional affair is the largest public event held at the presidents home. (C) Cover Media
