Zo Kravitz: Fashion should be fun

27th January 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Zo Kravitz only wears clothes which tell a story.

The actress-and-singer is the daughter of famous musician Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. She has carved a successful career for herself, appearing in movies such as Twelve and Beware the Gonzo and fronting band Elevator Fight. She has also made a foray into fashion, modelling for magazines and for Vera Wang and Alexander Wang.

The star has an eclectic taste in fashion, and doesnt stick to trends. She is uninterested in whether people like what she wears, explaining she only thinks about pleasing herself.

My whole thing about fashion is not to take it too seriously, she said. I like to wear vintage clothes and things that kind of look tattered and have a story to them. The whole idea of clothes is that they tell a story.

Zo was the face of Vera Wangs 2009 perfume Princess, and is now reprising the role to star in the campaign for the designers new scent Preppy Princess. She admits she doesnt always wear fragrance herself, although she has been persuaded to dab it on more often as Preppy Princess smells so good.

My whole thing about perfume, [is that] its usually too much, she told People. But this is subtle so I can actually wear it and not feel like Im stinking up the room. (C) Cover Media
