Alia Bhatt is going places! 2014 has been a successful year for the actress and now we hear that she is apparently roped in to play the lead in 'Rock On 2'.

After Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal starrer 'Rock On' turned out to be a hit at the box, the sequel of the film was announced by the makers.

However Abhishek Kapoor who directed the first part, won't be directing the sequel this time. The producer is yet to finalize the other cast as well.

Alia is currently shooting for 'Shandaar' opposite Shahid Kapoor.
