(Cover) - EN Star Style - Jennifer Lopez has revealed she "didn't believe in" her first foray into fashion.

The 41-year-old songstress launched her Sweetface fashion company in 2001 alongside Tommy Hilfiger's brother Andy. However, Jennifer has revealed that she didn't understand the fashion business well enough and felt "trapped".

"I just felt like I never got a fair chance to do it right. And on top of it, I felt like I was trapped in a situation I couldn't get out of, and my name was stamped on things that I didn't believe in," she told the New York Times.

The star and her husband Marc Anthony are launching a new fashion collection next season in collaboration with Kohls. The couple are teaming with designer Tommy, and will have much more control this time.

Jennifer, who is busy with her television and music ventures as well as her fashion ones, says she is able to juggle her work life with her family. Jennifer, who has three-year-old twins Max and Emme, says despite being busy, her children always come first.

"I know how to say no now," she said. "I say I'm tired. I can't do this. I'm not doing that tomorrow.' I have kids now, so my life is not completely my own. They come first." (C) Cover Media
