Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan created magic with 'Om Shanti Om' back in 2007, and her next directorial project with SRK made big news when it was announced last year.

While there was no news from Farah or SRK on the project, insiders had earlier reported that the movie titled 'Happy New Year' was running into trouble with lack of available dates on SRK's schedule, and also there was no clarity on the female lead.

It was then reported that SRK was finally on-board with Farah for the film, but the rumor on the project being delayed surfaced after the superstar was severely injured during the shoot of his much-awaited film 'Chennai Express' and even went through a shoulder surgery for the same.

Putting all the rumors to rest, Farah has now confirmed that she is all set with the pre-production activities for 'Happy New Year' and the movie will in fact go on floors this September. Farah also added that a lavish Dubai spot has been booked for a month where the movie shoot will commence in September.

The director further shared that while most of the star cast of the film has been finalized, they will be closing the lead actress, soon as well.

With all the pieces finally falling in place, looks like it is finally going to be a 'Happy New Year' for Farah this September.
