In Bollywood, rivalry is not new. However, this time around it was more of a sibling contest than an actual rivalry for Abhinav & Anurag Kashyap.

Apparently, both the director-writer brothers were vying for the same actor, Ranbir Kapoor, for their upcoming movies. And looks like Abhinav has beaten Anurag.

Anurag had approached Ranbir for 'Bombay Velvet', while Abhinav for his next, 'Project 18'. 

Ranbir had given a nod to both of them. However, he had stated that he would work with the one who presented him the bound script first. 

News from the sources is that Abhinav has produced the script to Ranbir and has won the competition. 

Ranbir, however, will also do Anurag's film, but it will begin filming no sooner before next year. 

We hope Anurag wouldn't mind being beaten by his own sibling.
