Adrian Grenier: Fame isn't important

29th July 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adrian Grenier has never been interested in the "glitzy" side of fame.

The 35-year-old US actor is best known for his portrayal of Hollywood star Vincent Chase in hit TV show Entourage. Adrian recently finished shooting the final season of the programme, which first aired in 2004, and is getting nostalgic about lessons learnt from his TV alter ego.

"I've always found a lot of wisdom in the show and particularly through my character who's been able to be a guiding force to the guys," he gushed.

"I look up to him and I take a lot of cues from him. When he says stuff like, Good or bad, you can't listen to what these people say' The idea is, what's important is not the fame, the money, the glitz, the glam, the girls. What's important is right here at home with the guys and I've tried to live with that line since the beginning."

Entourage's creator and executive producer Doug Ellin was speaking to reporters yesterday at the Television Critics Association Summer Session 2011 in Beverly Hills. Doug warned fans not to expect anything too shocking from the season finale.

"There's no major deaths, there's no major things," he enthused.

"It's really hopefully just a vibe kind of [like in the] first season where people just used to go, These are my boys I got a friend like E, I got a friend like Turtle or Drama'" (C) Cover Media
