(Cover) - EN Movies - Rob Kazinsky has got over his Hobbit heartbreak by starring in Guillermo del Toro's eagerly awaited monster movie.
The British actor had to pull out of filming The Lord of the Rings prequel because of personal reasons. However, he's managed to land himself another part in a blockbuster, Pacific Rim. Ironically, his new director also pulled out of filming The Hobbit.
The film, which Guillermo has described as "the biggest giant monster movie ever made", will see Rob play a member of a team fighting the creatures. He will star alongside Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba.
Willem Dafoe is also set to sign on for the movie, and will play a rogue scientist who has previous experience with the monsters. It's believed that he will help build a giant robot to tackle the invaders in a no doubt epic sequence.
Filming is expected to begin later this year. (C) Cover Media
