Yet another bestseller from the renowned Indian author Chetan Bhagat is being adapted on the big screen. His famous book '2 States - The Story of my Marriage' will be made into a movie titled '2 States' starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in the lead.

The film that traces the journey of Chetan's marriage, will be shot at the real locations including IIM-Ahmedabad (Indian Institute of Management), where the author was an alumnus.

He met his wife at the prestigious institute, and Chetan who has also penned the screenplay of the film is excited to go back to his roots.

"2 States - the film, starts shooting its next schedule in IIM Ahmedabad tomorrow. Real location. Real excitement." Chetan wrote on his microblogging page.

The book revolves around two central characters with different backgrounds; a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl. While Arjun Kapoor plays a true-blooded Punjabi, Alia plays the Tamilian in the film.
