Amber Heard has reportedly split from her long-term girlfriend.

The 26-year-old actress and artist Tasya van Ree came out as a couple at GLAAD's 25th anniversary bash in 2010, but have reportedly been dating since 2008.

According to US publication In Touch, Amber and Tasya have now gone their separate ways.

"They are no longer in a relationship," an insider told the magazine.

The report comes in the midst of the star been linked to Johnny Depp following the end of his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

The source added that Amber split from Tasya as things between her and Johnny "began to heat up".

Amber and Tasya are allegedly keen to keep their friendship alive, with Tasya enjoying her newfound single status.

"[Tasya] was chatting and laughing with several beautiful women," an eyewitness told the publication after she was spotted at a Los Angeles bar recently.

Amber and Johnny - who haven't commented on their relationship status - become close after they shot 2011 movie The Rum Diary together and she has visited him on the set of his new movie The Lone Ranger in New Mexico.
