(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashton Kutcher has reportedly hosted a secret young tech weekend at his home.
The American actor is famed for his regular use of social networking sites to interact with fans, including Twitter.
The 33-year-old star, who became the first user of the interactive site to have more than 1,000,000 followers, has also been reinforcing his reputation as a tech entrepreneur by investing in a number of start-up companies.
It has now been revealed that Ashton, who has a partnership with billionaire Ron Burkle and Madonna's manager Guy Oseary for his technical projects, turned his and wife Demi Moore's home into a tech get-together for young stars.
The Hollywood hunk hosted a dozen youngsters with guests from social networking site Foursquare and other top tech firms at his Idaho home.
"It was Ashton's own tech weekend," the source said. "It was his retreat of young tech guys. There were no major deals announced in Sun Valley. There's a generational shift, and Ashton is doing his thing. It was the young tech guys meeting after Sun Valley."
The annual Sun Valley conference is known as a "summer camp for moguls" and this year's event attracted a whole host of impressive stars including Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Eric Schmidt, and Napster co-founder Sean Parker.
A representative for Ashton had no comment. (C) Cover Media
