Ashton Kutcher has reportedly moved on from his six-year marriage to Demi Moore.

The actor spent the Christmas holiday in Italy with screenwriter Lorene Scafaria who he is said to have grown close to in recent months.

The 33-year-old was pictured going sight-seeing with the brunette beauty including taking snaps of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Us Weekly reports that Lorene, who until recently dated OC actor Adam Brody, was staying in a private residence with the Two and a Half Men star.

The pair apparently drove around town in a Porsche Careera Sports 2011 and had lunch together at Pizzeria Trattoria Toscana in Pisa on Christmas Eve.

"They held hands," eyewitness Alex Thorpe told the publication. "They shared spaghetti and he paid."

Ashton tweeted about the trip and said he was also there with his Katalyst business partner Matt Mazzant.

"Roman holiday with homies have an amazing new year!" he wrote.

Reps for both Kutcher and Scafaria say they are "just friends."

Ashton and Lorene were also seen getting cosy earlier this month at Yellowstone Club ski resort in Montana and have maintained a close friendship since meeting in February when Ashton tried out for a film she wrote.

Steve Carrell ended up getting the part in the movie Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
