(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles is trying to make her own genre of music.

The 29-year-old singer catapulted to fame in the 90s as part of girl group Destinys Child. She has since grown to become one of the worlds best-loved recording artists, and is currently in the studio working on her next album.

Until now Beyonc has been best known for her R&B-influenced hits, as well as wowing fans with her powerful voice on a series of spine-tingling ballads.

The talented musician wants her next record to be groundbreaking, and is hoping to invent her own unique genre.

"I love to dance, I love to sing, and I'm actually in the studio now writing songs and producing," she explained in a promotional video for Vizio televisions.

I have a lot of live instruments that I'm putting into the tracks to try to change the sound and make my own genre of music.

The gorgeous singer is the star of a new Vizio commercial which will air for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. Beyonc explained the fun premise behind the advertisement.

"Someone's watching the television and I decide to step in their living room and perform especially for them, and the TV looks so wonderful, they're ignoring me. So I'm stepping it up and I'm trying to perform harder, and it doesn't matter - the TV is better!" she laughed. (C) Cover Media
