At a time when family dramas have become a rarity in Tamil cinema, debutant filmmaker M S S is coming up with "Neengatha Yennam" starring Jayanth, son of veteran actor Bhanuchander. Ankitha, who appeared in many commercials and acted in a couple of Tamil films as heroine, is playing the female lead. 

Speaking about the film, M S S says, 'it is a story about the love and care shared between son and his parents. The need to respect the elders and take care of them is the order of the day. No parents would want their children to go on wrong path'.

This forms the crux of "Neengatha Yennam" and we also tried to convey a message that one can sacrifice anything to succeed in their life, he adds.

The shooting for the movie began 23rd January in Pudukottai district and would be completed in one go, he adds. Jayaprakash, Saranya, Thalaivasal Vijay, T P Gajendran, Kadhal Dhandapani among others form part of the cast.
