The well-known actress from the south, Bhumika Chawla celebrates her birthday today. As the star turns 34, let's go down memory lane remembering her contribution to the Indian cinema.

Born in New Delhi, Bhumika started off her career with ad films and Hindi music video albums. She has also appeared in the T.V. serial 'Hip Hip Hurray'.

Her first movie was 'Yuvakudu' in Telugu, alongside Sumanth. She later worked in 'Kushi' opposite Pawan Kalyan, that was a box office success. She won the Filmfare Best Actress Award (Telugu) for the movie.

After that she has worked in various movies of different languages and genre, becoming one of the most respected actresses of today.

Bhumika is married to her long-time boyfriend and yoga teacher Bharat Thakur.
