Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been honored with some of the most prestigious awards not only in India but also on the international platform. And the latest feather tucked in his hat will be an honor that will be conferred on the actor at the upcoming Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF).
The event will also hold a retrospective of his artwork. A hyperactive social network user, Amitabh himself revealed his 'POA' (plan of action) for the coming days.
"I travel back to Bhopal in a few to complete 'Satyagraha', to finish by the end of the month of April and then immediately set off for New York, to be with 'The Great Gatsby' and its premier on the 1st of May. There is then the Melbourne Film festival, where they do a retrospective of mine and give me honour. Those timings are from the 3rd May to the 15th. I could come they said on any day. The Cannes Film Festival opening is on the 15th of May with TGG, and I have to be there too. So its crossing over to London first, across the Atlantic then for NYC, across the massive land mass of the United States of America to Los of Angeles, and over the Pacific to Australia and Melbourne, to hastily cross over the Far Eastern region back over the Indian Ocean to Mumbai, and on to London and Cannes by the 15th …" wrote Big B on his microblogging site recently.
Since it is a busy schedle for the actor, he further wrote, "At the end of all this I would require a year to recover from symtoms of acute delusion as to what, where and why I am .. ?!!!! If there are some kind souls within us in the Ef … could you suggest any random ideas of how one should attempt to accomplish this feat !! Thank you very much !!"
Well, it's not a 'delusion' as Big B can simply find his answer among his billions of fans, who hold a special place in their hearts for the super-talented and modest actor.
