Busan International Film Festival to open with an Indian film

Indian cinema is making the country proud across the globe. Latest news is Asia's most popular film festival; Busan International Film Festival will open with an Indian film.

This 10 day fest will kick start on October 1, 2015 in Haeundae-gu and will showcase more than 14 Indian films in it.

Mozez Singh's 'Zubaan' will inaugurate the fest. Besides this, Hansal Mehta's 'Aligarh', Meghna Gulzar's 'Talvar', Assamese film 'Kothanodi', 'Masaan', Sumon Ghosh's 'Peace Haven' will feature in 'A Window on Asian Cinema'.

While 'Wide Angle' category will screen Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Dhanak', Umesh Agarwal's 'Jai Ho', Vivek Kajaria's 'Durga'.

Along with smaller projects, it will also showcase money-minting films such as 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Baahubali'. And lastly Satyajit Ray's 'Aparajito: The Unvanquished' to premiere in the 'Asian cinema 100' category.
