(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen wants to improve his relationships with Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, so is planning to buy them new homes near him.

Denise filed for divorce from Charlie in 2005 after less than three years of marriage. The pair have daughters Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola together, and their marriage officially ended in 2006.

The troubled star also has 23-month-old twins Bob and Max with Brooke, who he is in the process of divorcing.

Charlie has had a number of personal problems over the last few months, including being hospitalised while on a family holiday with Denise and their kids in New York last year after he was allegedly found drunk and naked in his hotel room. He is currently receiving treatment at his home following another hospitalisation.

The star is now said to be keen to mend his relationships with Denise and Brooke, and wants to ensure he has strong bonds with his kids. He has already started looking for property for the two women, in the hope having them close will mean things become friendly.

Charlie tells us, he's currently got his real estate agent on the job - hunting for two mansions in his exclusive Mulholland Estates neighbourhood in L.A... one for Brooke and one for Denise, reports TMZ.

According to Charlie, he's willing to front the costs of the two houses, plus whatever moving expenses the women incur - all in the hopes that the four children he sired with his two exes might grow up closer to their daddy... and get to know their half-siblings.

It remains unknown whether Denise and Brooke are keen for the moves to go ahead.

Denise and Charlies break up was acrimonious, with Denise accusing Charlie of visiting prostitutes while they were together and posting provocative posters of himself online. Charlie denied the allegations.

His split from Brooke was also difficult, with Charlie arrested following an altercation with her over Christmas 2009. He eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault. He filed for divorce from Brooke in November.

Last week, Denise insisted Charlies recent bout of behaviour hasnt shocked her as she is so used to it. Although he is receiving treatment he admitted finding sobriety boring.

This has been something I have dealt with for years. This is not a new situation, she said.

There are times where his life is more colourful than others, more public than others, and as the kids get older it's a difficult thing.

I'm learning as I go too. I have never had to deal with this and this was a subject I had hoped to talk with my children about as they got older. But it's hard.

Charlie also has 26-year-old daughter Cassandra from another relationship. (C) Cover Media
