(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen allegedly shouted racial slurs and put his hands around an adult film actress neck before he was taken to hospital last month.

Charlie was reportedly found drunk and naked in a New York hotel room, and was taken to a clinic for an alcohol abuse and psychological evaluation.

Capri Anderson was hired to escort Charlie to dinner that evening and she has given her first interview about what happened. The 22-year-old adult movie star claims that when the pair returned to the actors suite at the Plaza Hotel his behaviour became verbally abusive and violent. Capri alleges she feared for her life and locked herself in the bathroom before calling hotel security.

"Towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad," she said in an interview with Good Morning America. "He started yelling racial slurs. But it wasn't until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, you have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation."

Charlie has tried to play down the incident, insisting it was just one bad night and has denied reports he had taken cocaine.

However, Capri insists the 45-year-old star was out of control and his behaviour was terrifying.

"It's not right to hurt people. It's not right to scare people, she added. It's not right to carry on with such disregard for the people around you."

Charlie is now said to be receiving the help of a sober coach, who is giving him spiritual guidance in the wake of his latest personal problems. The Hollywood star is in the midst of a divorce and custody battle with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller.

Charlies lawyer Yale Galanter has now vehemently denied Capris version of events.

These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false, and are a blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity, Yale said in a statement. (C) Cover Media
