A proud moment for India as Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has bagged the Best Foreign Actor award at the 27th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in China for his role in film 'Raid'. The film was a box-office success in India as it received raving reviews from the audiences.
In the film, Ajay plays a strong righteous Income Tax officer who conducts the longest raid ever in the house of a local politician. Devgn looked spot on with his character and the victory is deserving. The film has a logical tagline that says 'Heroes don't always come in Uniform'. The film entered the 100 cr club for its honesty and gripping nature.
"The best actor victory for Ajay Devgn at the Golden and Hundred Flowers Film Festival is another feather in his cap and affirmation of his strong acting talent," said Bhushan Kumar, T-Series chairman and producer of Raid, in a statement.
