Christopher Nolan: Batman 3 is inevitable

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Christopher Nolan has confirmed he will direct the third Batman film, saying it was inevitable.

The acclaimed director was thrilled to announce he is working on the new project, saying it is making him giddy. The 40-year-old helmed 2008s The Dark Knight, the sequel to 2005 movie Batman Begins, and already has some exciting ideas for the next instalment.

Its becoming inevitable, Ill put it that way," Christopher said when asked to confirm he was directing the third Batman film by EmpireOnline. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and Im pretty excited about what were doing so If I havent announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that Im doing it."

Christopher teamed up with his brother, script-writer Jonathan Nolan, to bring The Dark Knight to life and the pair will work together again to produce the third film.

Christopher, whose last film was Inception, revealed he is currently studying Jonathans script and planning how the movie will take shape.

In other words, there is a script! Things are slowly taking shape! reports the website.

Christopher was nominated for the Directors Guild of America Award for best director for The Dark Knight, which starred late actor Heath Ledger as the Joker. Heath posthumously won the best supporting actor Oscar for the role. (C) Cover Media
