(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cheryl Cole will make her Hollywood debut in a star-studded film, it has been reported.

The former Girls Aloud singer is in advanced talks to appear in the highly anticipated movie What to Expect When You're Expecting. The film is cast with a host of celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz.

Earlier in the year Cheryl was set to make her US debut in the hit American version of Simon Cowell's television show The X Factor. Unfortunately Simon replaced Cheryl with singer Nicole Scherzinger at the last minute. Cheryl and Simon have not spoken since and Cheryl was incredibly disappointed about not being on the show.

Rapper and producer Will.i.am is now managing Cheryl and has secured a cameo role for the beauty on What to Expect When You're Expecting.

Cheryl is incredibly enthusiastic about the opportunity.

"This is a bit of fun for Cheryl. She will film the scenes imminently and is really looking forward to it," a source revealed to the Daily Mail.

Although this cameo may provide Cheryl with the opportunity to fulfil her dream of breaking into the US entertainment industry, she will not sacrifice her passion for music.

"It doesn't mean she suddenly wants to become actress," said the source. "It was just an opportunity that has come up while she has been having some down time and she thought it would be great fun to take part." (C) Cover Media
