(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Colin Farrell spends much of his time connecting with his children over the internet while he's away, even though his sons do not really "care for it".
Doting father Colin has two sons, James, seven, and Henry, 22 months. While away on set filming projects, the actor resorts to using software application Skype to converse with his youngsters.
Colin admits that his kids aren't too impressed with the interaction though.
"James doesn't really care. We tried this once, years ago. He didn't care for it," said Colin to USA Today. "Actually, Henry is kind of bored with it already."
The boys are welcome to connect with him in the physical realm too. Colin just had a visit from his youngest son Henry on the set of his newest project Total Recall which he is filming in Toronto alongside co-star Jessica Biel.
Colin's eldest son James has a neuro-developmental disorder called Angelman's Syndrome that affects speech, causes seizures and impairs speech. James is in no way suffering and has the vigour to visit his father whenever he wants to.
Colin focuses more on his son's personality, rather than his disorder.
"[James is] doing phenomenal. Less and less and less do I see his condition. I'm just keenly aware of his personality. He's really cool," said Colin. "He's got an amazing team of people in his life. We have the seizures under control. He helps us in a way to be better people. He's so much fun to be around. I just am crazy about him. His health is good."
Colin's newest film, Horrible Bosses, is out in theatres now. (C) Cover Media
